EMMIA PLP Team is working on project study in selected regions, which represent valuable examples of good practice for other EU regions in support of Mobile industry and Mobile Services industry.

The aim of developing more sustainable solutions in the field of mobility supported by mobile services is a strategic initiative of EMMIA.

Particular task of BIC R&D team is to prepare an analysis of the evolution in Estonian mobile and mobility reality (history, current status, future visions). This is the area where Policy Makers, Business, Private and Public Funding, Transfer of Technologies and Industry itself share their visions in EMMIA Policy Learning Platform initiative.
Our research is based on an extensive analysis of this field, using various methods of desk research, structured and open interviews and personal contact with representatives such as EMT, ITL, Estonian IT Demo-centre, Smart City Lab in Tartu and many young entrepreneurs from Estonia.

Documentation of all investigations undertaken will serve as a basis for drawing up a strategic framework in a book, which will be presented at the summit in Brussels.
